POSITION: Internship
JOB DESCRIPTION: TechForce Counseling & Community Services (TFCCS)is excited to offer college internship opportunities. As a college intern, you will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience in a variety of fields, including but not limited to mental health counseling, behavioral health counseling, nursing, and warehousing assistance. This internship program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience while earning credits applicable to their institution or college. DUTIES: 1. Mental Health Counseling - Work closely with experienced counselors to provide support to individuals facing mental health challenges. - Participate in mental health awareness initiatives and assist in organizing related events. 2. Behavioral Health Counseling - Shadow and collaborate with professionals in behavioral health to gain practical insights into the field. - Contribute to the development and implementation of behavioral health programs. 3. Nursing - Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting. - Engage in health education initiatives and community outreach programs. 4. Warehousing Assistance - Collaborate with our logistics team to manage inventory, organize warehouse spaces, and assist in distribution activities. - Gain exposure to the logistics and operations side of nonprofit organizations. SALARY RANGE: College interns will earn credits applicable to their institution or college as per their academic program. This internship is designed to provide valuable practical experience and academic growth. SKILLS: 1. Communication Skills: - Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and diverse community members. 2.
