POSITION: Substance Abuse Counselor 

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Substance Abuse Counselor at TechForce Counseling & Community Services (TFCCS),   you will be instrumental in providing counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Your role will involve assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic interventions to promote recovery. In addition, you will work closely with a team of professionals to create a comprehensive and personalized approach to address the complex challenges associated with substance abuse.

DUTIES:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and treatment needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other treatment team members.
- Provide counseling and psychoeducation to individuals and groups dealing with substance abuse issues.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, social workers, and other support services to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Stay informed about current trends and evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- State licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor.
- Relevant experience in substance abuse counseling.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in addiction treatment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
- Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
